First year is the very importnatnt transition phase of the students to the Technical Education. Our department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty members and we are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in Engineering and technology. Our goal for First year students is to give them a high quality basic sciences education that includes hands-on experience through which they can get idea about basic science and its real life application. I welcome all the students in engineering and wish you best of luck for your future and overall growth during their engineering education. I hope that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to society.
To provide students with strong foundation of basic science , mathematics along with its applied aspect and hone their communication skills.
M1: Strive to develop strong mathematical concepts in order to solve complex engineering problems and create appropiate mathematical models.
M2: Strive to develop firm base of basic chemisty and physics as well as its applied aspect so that it may be used in solving engineering problems as and when applicable.
M3: Try to develop strong writing, speaking and reading ability and social values by providing good knowledge of communication skills and humanities.
Engineering Graduates will be able to:
Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of science, mathematics, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization for research, innovation and solving automobile engineering problems.
Problem Analysis: Use the basic principles of natural science, mathematics and engineering for identifying and analyzing the automobile engineering problems to reach the suitable conclusions.
Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for automobile engineering problems to meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration to the environment, public health and safety.
Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge including design of experiments, data interpretation and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
Modern Tool Usage: Select the appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering including modelling and prediction for automobile engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
The Engineer and Society: Apply reasoning and logical thinking relevant to automobile engineering with understanding of consequent responsibilities towards societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues.
Environment and Sustainability: Understand the cause of professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts to conserve suitable environment for sustainable development.
Ethics: Apply ethical principles, commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the automobile engineering.

PSO 1: Engineering Graduates will be able to utilize the principles of designing, machine manufacturing and thermal engineering to meet the automobile engineering requirements.

PEO 1: To acquire fundamental technical knowledge and develop essential proficiency in varied areas of basic science, mathematics and engineering science.
PEO 2: To inculcate core automobile areas such as vibration, thermal engineering, design of automotive system and autotronics to meet the automobile industry challenges.
PEO 3: To enhance competency in interdisciplinary approach and research activities.
PEO 4: To inculcate teamwork, leadership skills, problem solving and decision making skills and entrepreneurship.

Applied science and humanities has become a strategic function in every field of engineering, the department of Applied Science established in the 2012. The department considers the committed and dedicated faculty as its core strength in providing value education with professional standards to the enthusiastic and vibrant student community. Improved methods of teaching and learning process are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practice, exposure and motivation. We inculcate courage and creativity in our students.
