The Department of Information Technology was formed with the primary objective of providing quality education in the field of Technology. Right from its inception, the Department has been offering excellent infrastructural facilities with a variety of computing platforms to aspiring IT students to meet the rapidly increasing demands of the IT industry. Importance is given to quality teaching and learning process through faculty development programs for teachers and soft skill programmes for students. Special care is taken for the students whose performance is poor in the examinations through counseling and extra classes. We the staff and students of IT department express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to our Management and Principal for providing us the necessary facilities and valuable guidance.

Information technology is one of the fastest growing technical areas in the world. As a part of it,the department seeks to combine excellence in education and research with service to the industry. Our vision is, the department should be recognized as one of the leading Information Technology Departments in India and beyond. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that will enable them to serve a variety of societal needs. We train all students in such a way that, they are compatible at national as well as at international level. Our highly qualified faculty members not only provide knowledge to the students but also motivate them to be distinctly professional in their approach. The Department offers four year Bachelor Degree. In our department students are nurtured to become world-class software professionals as Project Managers, System Analysts or Team leaders in Industry or become Entrepreneurs in their own innovative way. I am sure in time to come; many students from our department will make indelible mark nationally and internationally in the field of Information Technology and make us proud. We have students who are hard- working, committed faculty members and a very healthy work-culture. I.t Centre 1 View Lab | The lab is equipped with latest networking related devices that facilitates students to perform Computer Network practicals. All important Network Simulators like Cisco Packet Tracer, NetSim, OMNET and NS3 are installed to provide solution to the practical problems faced by computer scientists. We conduct IIT workshops by NMEICT in the lab and also perform networking practicals. |

Programming Lab View Lab | The lab is installed with all important editors like Code Block, JAVA, C++ provides a dual operating system environment .This lab provides requisite environment for Design and Analysis of Algorithms for solving complex problems in the field of computer science. Students execute all data structure and other algorithm related practicals in the lab. The latest platforms/compilers are provided to the students to run their programs. |

We Lab View Lab | In WE lab we are working on software engineering issues of building software systems that effectively utilize various resources in emerging environments such as the Web, clouds, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). We especially focus on making software systems adaptable to changing needs and conditions in highly dynamic environments and allowing end users to participate in the evolution of the software. |
